We provide competitive teams for
4th grade through high school

HBA TEAMS

At HBA, our teams are built with a clear purpose: to develop confident, skilled, and competitive basketball players. We offer boys and girls AAU teams from 4th through 12th grade, providing opportunities for athletes at every stage of their journey to grow, compete, and succeed. We Offer AAU teams in NJ out of Hunterdon & Hudson counties that play in competitive and highly competitive tournaments

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

HBA teams compete during the spring and fall AAU seasons, with additional winter team options for younger players. Our structure allows athletes to stay engaged year round while continuing to sharpen their skills in a competitive environment. We provide both local and National teams, giving families the flexibility to choose the level of commitment and competition that fits their goals.

PLAYER DEVELOPMENT FOCUS

Our teams are led by experienced coaches who understand how to teach the game the right way. Every HBA team is rooted in our core philosophy: fundamentals come first. Regardless of level, all teams emphasize:

  • Ball handling and decision-making

  • Shooting mechanics and consistency

  • Footwork and body control

  • Spacing and team concepts

  • Defensive intensity and accountability

We don’t just prepare players for the next game, we prepare them for long, term success at the high school level and beyond.

MORE THAN A TEAM

Being part of an HBA team means more than just playing games. It’s about accountability, work ethic, and being part of a culture that values development, teamwork, and growth.

Whether your goal is to improve your skills, compete at a higher level, or prepare for high school basketball, HBA provides the structure and coaching to help you get there.
